Empowering Future Stars: The MiniTillies Program

The landscape of women’s football in Australia has never been more vibrant. Following the historic success of the CommBank Matildas and the excitement surrounding the FIFA Women’s World Cup, we have seen a massive surge in interest from young girls eager to lace up their boots. At Mulgoa Valley Football Club, we are thrilled to share the latest news from the Nepean Football Association regarding the launch of the MiniTillies program. This initiative is a fantastic step forward in our mission to grow the game and provide accessible, high-quality pathways for our local players. The MiniTillies program is specifically designed to capture the imagination of young girls, offering an introductory environment that focuses on fun, skill development, and building confidence on the pitch. For many young girls in our community, this program serves as the perfect entry point into the sport. By providing a dedicated space for girls to learn the fundamentals of football, the program helps remove barriers to entry and ensures that every child feels welcome and supported as they begin their football journey. At Mulgoa Valley FC, we have always been committed to fostering an inclusive environment where players of all ages and abilities can thrive. The introduction of the MiniTillies program aligns perfectly with our club’s values. We believe that by investing in these early development stages, we are not only helping to create the next generation of Matildas but also building a stronger, more connected community. Whether your daughter is picking up a ball for the first time or looking to refine her skills in a fun, social setting, this program offers the ideal foundation. We encourage all our members and families in the Mulgoa Valley area to keep a close eye on the Nepean Football Association website for upcoming session details and registration information. Let’s work together to keep the momentum of women’s football alive and ensure that every girl in our valley has the opportunity to fall in love with the beautiful game. We look forward to seeing many new faces on the field this season as we continue to promote, develop, and grow football right here in our own backyard.
