Our Story

Mulgoa Valley Football Club — The Black Swans

Mulgoa Valley Football Club, proudly known as The Black Swans, was established in 1985 and has been a cornerstone of community football (soccer) in the Nepean district of New South Wales ever since. Based at Gow Park on Littlefields Road, Mulgoa NSW 2745, the club has grown from a small community initiative into one of the most respected grassroots soccer clubs in Western Sydney and the greater Penrith region.

As a proud member of the Nepean Football Association, Mulgoa Valley FC competes across all age groups in the Nepean district competition — from the youngest Mini Roos discovering football for the first time, through Under 7s, Under 8s, Under 9s, Under 10s, Under 11s, Under 12s, Under 13s, Under 14s, Under 15s, Under 16s, Under 18s, and Senior divisions. This broad age-group participation reflects the club's deep commitment to developing players from their earliest years through every stage of their football journey.

Mulgoa Valley FC is affiliated with Football NSW and Football Australia, adhering to the highest standards of player welfare, fair play, and community values. Families from Mulgoa, Penrith, Emu Plains, Glenmore Park, Orchard Hills, Luddenham, Wallacia, and Silverdale have all called the Black Swans home.

Community and Values

At the heart of everything Mulgoa Valley FC does is its community. The club is run entirely by volunteers — coaches, managers, committee members, and dedicated parents — who give their time freely to ensure every child and adult who pulls on the Black Swans jersey has a positive and enriching experience. Football is more than a game here; it builds friendships, develops character, fosters resilience, and strengthens the bonds within the Mulgoa and broader Nepean community.

Local businesses and sponsors who share the club's vision are a vital part of the Black Swans' success. Sponsorship helps keep registration fees affordable for Nepean district families while giving businesses meaningful exposure to the local community. We offer sponsorship packages from Bronze ($1,000) to Principal ($15,000), including jersey logo placement, website features, and social media promotion across Western Sydney.
