Shaping Our Future: Nepean FA 2022 AGM

As the dust settles on another action-packed season, the focus at Mulgoa Valley Football Club shifts from the pitch to the boardroom. Recently, the Nepean Football Association (NFA) held its 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM), a pivotal event that sets the strategic direction for our local game. While administrative meetings might not have the same thrill as a last-minute goal, they are the bedrock upon which our club’s future is built. For Mulgoa Valley FC, the 2022 NFA AGM is more than just a formality. It represents an opportunity to align our club’s vision with the broader goals of the association. This year’s discussions touched upon critical developments regarding infrastructure improvements, player development pathways, and community engagement initiatives—all of which directly impact our members. Being present at these meetings ensures that the voice of the Mulgoa Valley community is heard loud and clear. We are particularly excited about the potential for increased support in referee training and volunteer development programs. As a club that prides itself on fostering a supportive and professional environment, these initiatives perfectly complement our internal goals for the upcoming season. The insights gained from the NFA leadership provide us with a clearer roadmap for how we can continue to grow our junior programs and enhance the match-day experience for our senior squads. Moreover, the AGM served as a reminder of the strength of our local football community. Sharing the room with fellow clubs from across the Nepean region reinforces the camaraderie that makes our sport so special. It reminds us that while we compete fiercely on the field, we are all working towards the same objective: providing the best possible environment for players of all ages to enjoy the beautiful game. We encourage all members to stay engaged as we translate the outcomes of this AGM into actionable plans for Mulgoa Valley FC. Your support, whether on the sideline or in a volunteer capacity, remains our greatest asset. Together, we are building a stronger, more vibrant club for everyone. Here is to a promising future for football in our valley!
